You will need:
Cotton Bud
Decorating Chalks
Paper or Card |
 |
| 1. To begin gently tear the paper by pulling the edge towards you. This ensures the edge separates to give a feathered look. |
 |
| 2. Then using the cotton bud or one of the applicators that comes with the chalks add your chosen colour to the torn edge. |
 |
| 3. The finished edge should look something like this. It can be used for borders, frames or edging. |

Hints & Tips
- As the chalks are acid free these techniques can be used for scrapbooking as well as other crafts
- Tearing away from yourself gives a different effect – have a play!
- Some of the chalk will fall off so make sure you protect your work surface!
